The Winter School on Robotic Manipulation of Deformable Objects, focusing particularly on textile handling, will be held from 9 to 13 February 2026 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. The event is organized within the framework of the ROMANDIC project.
This five-day programme will explore the theoretical background and practical methodologies related to robotic perception, simulation, control, and real-world applications involving deformable and soft materials. Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through guided laboratory work and collaborative exercises using state-of-the-art robotic platforms and simulation environments.
The winter school brings together leading international researchers and practitioners to share their knowledge and experience through lectures, demonstrations, and interactive discussions.
