Department of Automatics, Biocybernetics and Robotics is at the location of Jožef Stefan Institute, Jamova cesta 39, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The laboratories and offices of the department are in the basement and on the first floor of C building (building next to Jadranska street, ask at the receptionist).
How to get to JSI from the main bus and train station in Ljubljana?
The airport of Ljubljana has well organized bus connections to the center of city. By bus you can arrive to the main bus and train station, from where you can get to the chosen hotel or to the Jozef Stefan Institute (JSI).
The public transportation in Ljubljana is organized by buses (Ljubljanski potniški promet – LPP). The ride can be paid only with an Urbana card. It can be bought at most of the tobacconist shops, posts offices, at the Central bus station of Ljubljana and a number of shops and department stores. You can also buy the Ljubljana Card, which brings you many special offers. With this card you are entitled to free rides on the Ljubljana public transportation buses, free admittance to museums & galleries.
In front of the main train station is located the bus station. To get to JSI, take the bus number 9 (direction Trnovo). At the second stop get off and take the bus number 1 (direction Mestni Log) or number 6 (direction Dolgi Most). The bus number 1 stops directly in front of the Jožef Stefan Institute entrance (bus stop Jadranska). Number 6 on Tržaška cesta, which is 5 minutes of walking away from IJS.

BY CAR You can reach Slovenia via one of the border crossings with Italy, Austria, Hungary or Croatia, or you can rent a car in one of our car rental agencies.
